Mapping Irish Media: Critical Explorations, edited by John Horgan, Barbara O’Connor and Helena Sheehan, surveys a wide field of Irish media studies within the context of global media studies. It was recently published by University College Dublin Press with most chapters written by academics in the School of Communication at Dublin City University. It is divided into three sections: production, representation and reception, although analyses cross-cut these boundaries.
